The cable industry is well-positioned for success in the future, even against well-heeled digital rivals such as Netflix, Apple and Google, according to Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes. "This is not the music industry. This is the cable industry," he said at the Cable Show. "The reason you can get all these things on tablets and smart phones is because of the infrastructure development that was led by the people in this room and is now being copied. ... We should be very happy and excited about the position we're in right now. It's morning in the cable industry."
