As many clubs downsize or eliminate their caddie programs, Michigan's Country Club of Jackson continues to provide teens and young adults with an opportunity to bring home a paycheck while immersing themselves in the game of golf. The club has about 100 caddies -- starting at age 13 -- which is only half the number of caddies employed during the club's high point some years ago. About 35 clubs in the state still employ caddies.
