The president of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association remains positive about the long-term prospects for the U.S. refining sector even as some oil majors are exiting the business. "We're getting more out of the barrel than we ever have," said Charles Drevna. Advancements in technology have helped refiners raise efficiency and expand capacities, he added.
