Seventy-eight percent of 98 doctors surveyed said they use computers, iPads and other mobile devices to get information on drugs and devices, but 56% of those doctors said their use of technology does not change the time they spend with sales reps, according to a survey by Sermo and FiercePharma. Doctors said talking with sales reps allows them to get answers to questions, educational materials and reprints, information about how other doctors use samples and drug cost, side effect, dosing and efficacy information.
