Soda is becoming an art form in California's Bay Area, as makers create beverages made with ingredients including caramelized pineapple, cucumber and lavender. "It just fits with our philosophy," said Josh Spiegelman, co-owner of Roam Artisan Burgers, a restaurant selling beverages of fruit puree and seltzer, sweetened with agave nectar and made to order.
