The FDA is allowing Sun Pharmaceutical Industries to launch a 75-milligram dose of clopidogrel USP, a generic version of Sanofi and Bristol-Myers Squibb's anticoagulant Plavix. The tablet is given to patients with "acute coronary syndrome, recent myocardial infarction ... recent stroke or established peripheral arterial disease," Sun said.
