Transportation Security Administration screeners at Boston's Logan International Airport are engaging passengers in brief conversations as a test of the agency's behavior-detection program. The screeners will strive to detect any travelers who may post a threat to aviation security. "It's one layer of security that will allow us to provide additional screening and concentrate on passengers who may pose a higher risk," said Greg Soule, a spokesman for the TSA.
