Eric Brunsell, assistant professor of science education at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, shares several online tools that can be used to help students collaborate. He suggests using Edmodo to hold online discussions; Wetoku to create online videos; and Skype to chat with experts. Brunsell also recommends students blog as a group, and shares one group project in which ninth-graders created videos and chronicled their work in a group blog.
