Verizon Wireless hopes to make a splash at its annual developers conference next month with the release of an upgraded VCast Apps store, a company executive said Wednesday. "The first VCast Apps store missed the mark a little bit. We had a hard time ingesting a lot of the apps into the system in an efficient way," Verizon Vice President Kyle Malady said, adding that the carrier has sought to improve the experience for developers and consumers.
