Consumers looking for another smartphone alternative to the iPhone will find one in AT&T stores starting Oct. 2, when the company is scheduled to begin selling Samsung's Android-powered Galaxy S II. The Galaxy S II is Samsung's fastest-selling smartphone, and is the thinnest model available in the U.S., measuring 0.35 inches at one point. The phone will run on AT&T's HSPA+ 4G network and will be available starting at $199 after contract.
