The design of a $3 billion proposed resort in Miami has almost no straight lines or sharp edges. Instead, the focal point is the "eight-story platform of undulating concrete and glass" that covers 10 acres that could be home to four hotel towers, a casino, restaurants and retail space, cascading terraces and a waterfront promenade. Designed by architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia, the complex could be a "transformational thing," said KT Lim, chairman and CEO of Genting Group, which hopes to develop the project.
