A study in Pediatrics found that girls born to women who had relatively high urine levels of bisphenol-A during pregnancy demonstrated more behavioral problems at age 3 compared with those born to women with lower BPA levels. The link between BPA levels and behavior problems were more pronounced for girls than boys, researchers said. The results were based on the BPA levels of 244 mothers and their children in the Cincinnati area.
