Marshall School in Duluth, Minn., enrolled its largest-ever group of international students this year. The teenagers -- from such places as China and Libya -- are coming to America to learn English and pursue other goals, such as getting a higher education at a U.S. university or playing sports. The school has adapted to its new students, who plan to study at Marshall for multiple years, by hiring an international studies director and creating ELL courses.
