President Barack Obama should focus on investing in North America's oil and natural gas resources and bolstering support for shale-drilling projects to rejuvenate the economy, create thousands of jobs and curb the country's reliance on energy imports, writes Bernard Weinstein, associate director of the Maguire Energy Institute.
