Many new boomer entrepreneurs are looking to do more than just succeed in a new business, according to a survey by boomer think tank Civic Ventures. About half of the 25 million boomers who are weighing an entrepreneurial undertaking are hoping to use that business to help their community in some way. And more than 8 in 10 of these "encore entrepreneurs" say they want to achieve "a sense of meaning and a feeling of accomplishment" from their work.
