Smaller companies are likely to pay more in order to recruit employees, Bersin & Associates reports. Companies with more than 10,000 workers pay a median price of about $1,950 to recruit a new employee, compared with more than $3,600 at small firms. Larger companies benefit from having more hiring staff and needing to outsource their recruitment efforts less often, says Josh Bersin, CEO of Bersin & Associates.
