Twitter has granted two media-focused analytics firms unrestricted access to its full stream of published tweets in a bid to make itself more attractive to TV companies and marketers. Mass Relevance and Crimson Hexagon will be able to trawl through all 250 million daily tweets in order to find content relevant to specific shows, whether it's chatter about on-screen action or in-depth opinion analysis for news networks. "This is about growth, not a revenue play for us," said Chloe Sladden, Twitter's director of content and programming.
