Vestas Wind Systems said that it has won contracts to provide 77 wind turbines to two wind projects in the U.S. The turbines, which have a combined output capacity of 138.6 megawatts, will be installed at the Palouse Wind Project in Whitman County, Wash., and the Bull Hill wind project in Hancock, Maine. Delivery to the two projects is slated to begin in mid-2012, with commissioning due in late 2012.
