A congressional hearing should be held to investigate the reliability of the nation's energy grid, argues a letter sent to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee by lawmakers from Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The letter raised questions about prolonged power outages that occurred during Hurricane Irene and an October snowstorm.
