Microsoft is boosting the control and search features built into its Xbox 360 games console and expanding the content choices for subscribers to its Xbox Live in an effort to further establish itself as an all-in-one entertainment provider. Starting this week, the company will begin rolling out expanded content from YouTube, HBO Go, Hulu Plus and Netflix, among others, as well as new offerings from Vudu and MLB Advanced Media. Microsoft is also upgrading the Xbox 360 to add a new interface that enables consumers to search for content using gestures and voice commands via a Kinect game controller.
