A number of business travelers are guilty of padding their expense accounts because they feel they are deserving for the time and effort they spend on the road. "People are giving themselves a treat by putting in a little bit more than they should have and getting a little more back than they should," said public accountant John Geron. But be warned: One woman was unceremoniously cut loose because she turned in a travel expense report that included $9.95 for an in-room movie rental.
