More B2B marketers will socialize their home pages to drive traffic to them in the coming year, predicts Jeffrey L. Cohen. Other changes in the social landscape include a greater emphasis on content creation through blogging, better measurement of how social media generates leads and B2B marketers casting a wider net with the social media efforts. While some formerly exciting platforms, such as Twitter, will hit the wall for B2B, tried-and-true techniques such as e-mail marketing will flourish, Cohen writes.
