AT&T reported revenues of $32.5 billion in the fourth quarter, thanks largely to record sales of handheld devices -- including iPhones and Android smartphones. Consumers purchased 9.4 million smartphones from AT&T during the period, a 50% increase from the prior record and nearly twice as many as were sold in the third quarter, the company said.
