The market for condominiums is expected to stay strong in Canada as boomers become seniors and account for nearly a quarter of the country's population by 2036. Even now, condos account for nearly a third of housing starts. "Aging baby boomers will generate demand for condominiums and for home adaptations and support services aimed at allowing them to continue living comfortably in their homes," says a report by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp.
