The House Judiciary Committee has scheduled a Feb. 15 meeting to scrutinize President Barack Obama's recess appointment of Richard Cordray as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Lawmakers will also look into Mr. Obama's appointments to the National Labor Relations Board. "This power grab threatens the role of Congress and raises serious constitutional questions," said Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas.
