The Department of the Interior's draft rules for hydraulic fracturing, which would require energy companies to disclose chemicals used in drilling on public lands, are nearly ready, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said. The department has been holding discussions with Native American tribes on the proposed rules, he said. "We are in the process of looking exactly at how we are going to shape the rules, and you will hear more on what we are going to be doing on natural gas fracking in the next several weeks," Salazar added.
