DIRECTV will allow subscribers who own Samsung Smart TVs to log on directly to the HBO GO service, giving them another option besides viewing the on-demand service on their computers. The company says it will focus on linking to consumer electronics products that "are a part of the DIRECTV ecosystem ... so that we can ensure the highest quality video experience possible." Cable companies Comcast and Time Warner Cable do not give their subscribers access to HBO GO on Samsung sets.
