Evidence-based wellness is a popular topic but many programs are not backed up by data and use a "cookbook" formula that fails to include accountability, said Dr. Bridget Juniper of Work and Well-Being Ltd. Two key flaws in company programs are failing to make a wellness plan relevant to the workplace and beginning a program without first assessing data that can guide content, Juniper says.
