More than a third of U.S. workers said they would be willing to give up social media in exchange for the opportunity to work from home, according to a survey on telecommuting by Harris Interactive on behalf of TeamViewer, which develops virtual meeting software. The poll of 2,630 workers found that for many, the option to telecommute is more important than texting, vacation days, a raise and even showering, with 86% insisting they would be at least as productive, if not more, when working from home.
