Amazon.com this week is expected to announce a video-streaming agreement with Viacom, Reuters reports, citing two people familiar with the discussions between the companies. Viacom, the owner of MTV Networks, Nickelodeon and Paramount Studios, would provide content from those sources to Amazon Prime customers under the proposed deal. The company declined to comment on the report, and Amazon didn't respond to a request for a comment. Amazon wants to be more competitive with Netflix's video-streaming subscription service.
