Samsung Electronics is seeing increased television sales this year, and it plans to introduce cheaper models in the next couple of months, said Kim Hyun-suk, executive vice president of Samsung's visual display division. The consumer-electronics giant, which sold about 43 million flat-screen TVs in 2011, has set a 2012 sales target of 50 million TVs, with half of those expected to be Internet-connected models.
