Amazon.com will add streaming from six Discovery Communications networks for the Web site's Prime Instant Video service under a digital content deal, the companies have disclosed. The move comes after Discovery CEO David Zaslav, who made an earlier agreement with Netflix, said his company would look for digital opportunities. Subscribers to Amazon's subscription service will gain access to previous seasons of series from Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science and Military Channel as well as to much of the company's library content.
