Coca-Cola has big plans for reaching global consumers via phones and tablets, says mobile-marketing chief Tom Daly. The soft drinks giant plans to cast a wide net, focusing 70% of its mobile budget on text-messaging promotions and 10% on smartphone campaigns. "With 6 billion SIM cards globally, that represents a lot of people who should be holding a Coke," Daly says.
