Businesses soon will be able to offer customers a variety of location-specific services via nonintrusive, location-aware applications that respond to geo-fences, Geoloqi CEO Amber Case said at the South By Southwest festival. Geo-fencing apps can deliver content and schedules specific to a place, all without the user having to load an additional app, she said: "It's all about letting people live their lives a little more instead of always being nose down in their technology."
