Hulu has signed an international content-distribution deal with FremantleMedia to run its original content -- including the Morgan Spurlock series "A Day in the Life" -- across a range of platforms, including television. Under the arrangement, which is touted as the first such deal ever drafted between an international distributor and an online-only provider, Fremantle will be licensed to run Hulu shows in any market except the U.S. and Japan, where the streaming company does its own distribution.
