Netflix announced that it is collaborating with Eli Roth -- director of horror films "Hostel" and "Cabin Fever" -- on an original series that deals with murder and the supernatural in a Pennsylvania town. The company plans to stream 13 episodes of the hourlong "Hemlock Grove" -- which is based on a Gothic horror novel by Brian McGreevy -- beginning in early 2013. The show is the latest in a string of original series being produced by Netflix, including David Fincher's "House of Cards" and Steven Van Zandt's "Lilyhammer."
