SCAI President Dr. Christopher White, who will publish an official response in SCAI's journal, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, disputes SVS' rationale that additional data justified the new guidelines. "There was no significant information that would trump a randomized controlled trial like CREST," White said.
