Travel agents can multiply visits to their website by signing up for the trending new social media site Pinterest, says travel and social media expert Sophie Bujold. "On average, people who are using Pinterest for traffic generation are seeing about 5% of their total website traffic being directed from Pinterest, which is more than LinkedIn, YouTube and Google+ combined," Bujold said. Pinterest can also serve as a significant platform for customer engagement and a source of travel prospects, Bujold said.
