The strong market entrance of upstart videoconferencing provider Vidyo is starting to wear on some established players, according to analysts who say the company's expansion in North American and Asia Pacific is taking market share away from Polycom. Vidyo -- whose VidyoPanorama product supports up to 20 screens of high-definition video at a lower cost point that most rivals charge -- added 850 customers in 2011 and brought in an additional $22.5 million in investment capital in September.
