Four in five shoppers surveyed in China and Thailand have shopped online, making these two countries the leaders in the category for the Asia-Pacific region, according to a MasterCard survey. Japan and South Korea follow, with 74% and 71% -- but emerging markets in the region show strong growth, noted Philip Yen, group head of emerging payments for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa at MasterCard Worldwide.
