In combination with behavioral therapy, exercise reduced signs of depression and fatigue and improved the quality of life of breast cancer patients during treatment, according to a new study from the University of Miami. Although this study isn't the first to show the benefits of physical activity for those with breast cancer, it is among the first to demonstrate that activity improves the benefits of other stress management measures, researcher Jamie M. Stagl said.
