Boomer-aged fashion and cosmetics models are coming into vogue as women in that age bracket are spending an estimated $47 billion a year in the sector. Juliette Branker, a 55-year-old model for Ford agency, says older women want to see someone their age in ads. "I can relate to someone my age selling a product," she said. "It's just more genuine."
