Metered access for Postmedia Network's Ottawa Citizen and Vancouver Sun are in store, and the National Post is selling its headquarters as the parent company struggles with a sharp downturn in ad revenue. CEO Paul Godfrey sounded out bank advertisers, finding that they're experimenting with forms that provide better feedback on effectiveness than newspapers. "Whether it continues in the long haul, we'll have to see," Godfrey said.
