Many women overrate the efficacy of birth control pills and condoms, according to a study of more than 4,100 women published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The finding indicates a need for better education on how well different contraceptives work with "typical use" in the real world, study leader Dr. David Eisenberg said. The research also showed women's huge faith in injections, vaginal rings and hormonal birth control patches.
