Brazil's center-south region will likely produce 5.68 billion gallons of ethanol this season, up 4.6% from last year, said industry group Unica. The country's ethanol exports will fall to 449 million gallons, down from last year's 488.7 million gallons, Unica said. Strong domestic demand means Brazil will likely buy 132,000 gallons of ethanol from the U.S. this year, the same amount as last year, Unica said.
