High-school students in Virginia are changing the way they think about spending now that all freshman are required to take a course in personal finance and economics. "At the movies, I used to get popcorn and a drink and the ticket, all of which is $25. Now, I'm just getting the ticket," said 15-year-old Will Ferguson. "I'm looking at prices." Virginia recently became the fourth state in the nation to mandate such courses for all students.
