The U.K.'s National Grid and Denmark's Energinet.dk are studying the feasibility of building a transmission line that would allow both countries to access each other's wind power output. The study will include the possible landing sites and capacity of the power line, as well as potential for integration with offshore wind farms, the grid operators said. "Both Great Britain and Denmark are planning for integration of future very high amounts of wind power," said Torben Glar Nielsen, executive vice president of Energinet.dk's electricity unit.
