A combination B-vitamin supplement that includes folic acid (B-9), B-6 and B-12 neither increased nor lowered a person's risk of colon cancer, according to a study of more than 5,400 older women involved in the Women's Antioxidant and Folic Acid Cardiovascular Study. The findings appeared in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
