A team of archaeologists has discovered the remains of an imperial palace near Emperor Qin Shi's burial chamber, home to the life-sized terracotta army found in China in the 1970s. Researchers think the palace was surrounded by 18 shelters and was occupied by emperors in the later part of Qing and Ming dynasties. Some of the remains found in the site are walls, stone roads, gates and pottery sherds.
