Orthodontists and dentists say they are treating more baby boomers who want to correct issues such as overcrowding and receding gums lines. Rear molars tend to move forward over time, crowding front teeth, and teeth also tend to discolor, crowns leak and bridgework loosens as people age, dentist John Savko says. Clear braces and the promise of looking younger make orthodontia more attractive to baby boomers, says orthodontist Rael Bernstein.
